Taylor Ebert
Rock Creek High School

A true three-sport athlete is rare these days with so many specializing in one sport.  Taylor Ebert embodies that spirit as she starred in three sports for four years at Rock Creek High School.  During her junior year, the Mustangs placed in volleyball, basketball, and softball at the 3A state tournament.  Ebert played setter on the Rock Creek volleyball team, which finished as the state runner-up in 2008, and she was named first team-all state during her senior season.  She also ran the point guard spot on the hardwood, helping to lead the Mustangs to a third place finish in 2009, and she was named all-state following her junior and senior seasons.  Taylor posted averages of 10.4 points, 3.4 assists and 2.3 steals per game this past season.  Ebert also pitched, played left field and second base for the Rock Creek softball team.  The Mustangs were the state runner-up in 2009 and Ebert was named all-state as an infielder, with a .385 batting average and 10 wins in the pitching circle.  Ebert also held court in the classroom with a 3.81 GPA.  She was a member of the RC Letterman's Club, Renaissance Club, Yearbook Staff, Choir, and FCCLA.  Congratulations to Taylor Ebert of Rock Creek High School, our McDonald’s/KMAN “Student-Athlete of the Year!”
